Hope CharitiesCrowdfunding & Emergency Campaign Policy
Hope Charities operates a moderated, donation-based crowdfunding service intended for genuine emergency and community assistance. It is not an investment platform.
1. Registration approval
Creating a login does not create a right to fundraise. Applicants must complete the crowdfunding registration and wait for Hope Charities to approve, reject or request clarification. Approval may be withdrawn if information becomes unreliable or safety concerns arise.
2. Campaign review
Every campaign is private when submitted. Hope Charities may verify contact details, the nature of the emergency, intended use of funds and other reasonable facts before publication. We may decline a campaign without publishing confidential review information.
3. Donation-based only
Campaign contributions are donations. No campaign may promise shares, interest, repayment, profit, ownership, investment returns or other financial consideration to donors.
4. Payment safety
Public campaigns use the official Hope Charities secure payment flow. Campaign owners must not ask donors to bypass the site and send money to personal numbers presented in messages or social posts.
5. Custody and payout
Campaign owners do not receive an automatic wallet or automatic withdrawal right. Hope Charities retains manual verification and payout control. Payout timing and method can depend on successful payment settlement, verification, safeguarding checks, fraud review and the intended purpose of the campaign.
6. Targets and outcomes
A fundraising target is a goal, not a guarantee. Hope Charities does not promise that a campaign will reach its target or that an emergency will be fully resolved. A campaign may be closed when the target is reached, circumstances change, or verification can no longer be maintained.
7. Public information and privacy
Applicants should provide only information necessary to explain the campaign publicly. Do not submit passwords, PINs, OTPs, full card numbers, national ID scans, medical records or other highly sensitive material through the public campaign form. Additional verification should be handled privately with authorised Hope Charities customer care.
8. Children and vulnerable persons
Campaign owners must avoid exposing children or vulnerable people unnecessarily. Hope Charities may remove or edit public content when safeguarding or dignity requires it.
9. Reports, suspension and removal
Visitors may report a campaign. Hope Charities may pause, close, reject or remove a campaign if fraud, misrepresentation, privacy, safeguarding, legal or payment concerns arise.
10. Refunds and disputes
Refunds are not automatic and depend on the donation policy, payment status, settlement state and circumstances. Transaction-specific disputes must be handled by human customer care.
