Voluntary donations
Donations to Hope Charities are voluntary. Donors should review the amount and payment details before confirming a transaction.
Payment processing
Online payments are processed through PayHero. Available payment methods may include M-Pesa, card and PayPal depending on the checkout options available at the time.
Donation references
A donor may include a reference or focus area. We use references to help identify the donor's intended purpose, subject to practical program needs and the organisation's ability to apply the gift appropriately.
Duplicate or mistaken payments
If you believe a payment was duplicated or made in error, contact us promptly with the transaction reference, date, amount and the contact details used for the payment. Requests are reviewed case by case, taking into account settlement status, payment-provider rules and applicable law.
Payment-provider charges
Transaction or processing charges imposed by a payment provider may not always be recoverable. Any refund, where approved, may therefore depend on the amount that can actually be reversed or returned.
